A la muerte de don Toribio, el cácaro del pueblo, Gumaro y Archimboldo, sus dos hijos, regresan a Güépez para escuchar el testamento de su padre en voz del presidente municipal don Cuino. En éste se estipula que su primogénito Archimboldo reciba un camión destartalado y que su hermano menor, Gumaro, el cine Linterna Mújica. A partir de esto, los hermanos Mújica entablarán una guerra sin cuartel que llevará al pueblo al borde del apocalipsis.

Don Toribio, the village´s projectionist passed away and Gumaro and Archimboldo, his two sons go back to Güepez to hear their father´s will and testament be read by the mayor, Don Cuino. The testament says that the old truck will belong to Archimboldo and the Linterna Mujica Movie Theatre will belong to Gumaro. From this, the Mujica brothers will start a war that will lead the village to the brink of apocalypse.
